Jerry Morgan founder and retired captain of Morgan’s Guide Service, Inc has fished the waters of Lake
Cumberland all of his life. He continues to provide a topnotch striper
guide service for 34 years and going forward. We have been blessed
with a wonderful clientel with several customers returning each year. In 2011, Jerry was proud to bring on board
his son, Jeremy Morgan as a Guide to the service which now holds the role as
lead captain. Jeremy has fished along
side of his Dad for several years as a youngster and now brings his expertise
to the family team. We added additional
captains to our group and are proud to have Michael Bray, Lucas Abner &
Shawn Allex to make up our elite crew.
These guides have been fishing on Lake Cumberland for greater than 65
years total and has proven to be a crucial assest to our lineup of
captains. These additions have made

With more than 1,200 miles of
shoreline on beautiful Lake Cumberland, our Captains strive to provide the most
personal, convenient, and courteous service, not to mention they pride

the water. Lake Cumberland is101 miles
long and 1 mile wide at its widest point.
The water covers 65,530 acres when at maximum pool levels. Lake Cumberland officially opened on June 11,
1952 and is the largest body of water in Kentucky. It has a capacity of 6.1 million acre feet of
water which is enough water to cover the state of Kentucky by 3 inches deep. Lake Cumberland is the 9th largest
manmade reservior in the United States and was created with water from the
Cumberland River following the construction of Wolf Creek Dam which is ranked
as the country’s 25th largest dam.
